Concord Municipal Complex in Concord, NH
This is a project Konopka took on for the State of New Hampshire. They needed to have parts of a building in the Municipal Complex in Concord refinished between one department leaving and another department being moved onto the site.
This project was around 5,000 square feet of extremely worn flooring on two floors, much of which had been buried under layers of adhesive, asbestos tile and carpet for decades, making it a great example of what can be done with extremely well worn flooring.
Rockywold Deephaven Camps in Holderness, NH
Rockywold is a long time client of Konopka Floor Sanding, and usually once a year or so they've got some upkeep projects for us to do.
These photos are from a 2024 project in which we did a full refinish of one of their large cabins, and the results were fantastic!
Wide Pine Floors - Concord, NH
This floor was about 20 years old and our client was ready to have it refinished. They had seen some of our work at a friend's home and wanted to get the exact same treatment on theirs.
We took a look back through our records to see what we had used in terms of product at their friend's home and as a result, were able to reproduce the look for them. It came out great!
Antique Pine Restoration in Chichester, NH
These photos are from a continuation of a project we took on early in 2024, but this kitchen needed a little TLC from carpentry before we could really get to work on it.
This floor may be as old as the late 1700s, with the wood taken from the attic being an exact match to the pine on the first floor.
It certainly took some doing, but thanks to the carpenters at Wardell and Harper, we were able to breathe new life into those old floors. Excuse the end result photo! Wet poly!
